If you are interested in visiting the House, you should note that reservation (you have to book your tickets in advance) is required and only small groups (of up to eight people each group) are allowed due to the small size of the house and rooms. The House is open from 12 February 2016 to 8 January 2017. But there will be time when the House is closed. For more details about the opening dates and hours, you can visit the website www.salvador-dali.org.

Salvador Dali House in Port Lligat, a small village in Girona, was the source of his inspiration because it was quiet and peaceful. The House was his only place of residence after childhood, where he spent most of his time working until 1982, when he decided to move to the Pubol Castle following the death of her wife Gala.

Arriving at the House, you will see the uniqueness of the building. The House comprises four cottages on the sea that were combined together, which resulted in the labyrinthine structure. To get to all rooms and natural surroundings, you will have to take irregular and narrow steps.

Dali Theatre-Museum

Settled in his hometown in Figueres, Dali Theatre-Museum showcases the largest and most diverse works of Salvador Dali. Next to the extraordinary museum is the theatre. You can see in the picture that the stage of the theatre is crowned with a glass geodesic dome roof cupola. Below the stage is where Dali was buried.

Prior to visit, make sure you check the opening schedule and other important information first, as the museum is not open to public all year round.
